New Parliament Building Will Not Have Central Hall?
WITC
Ex-MP and media persons are much disturbed due to the closure of the central hall. This hall is a meeting place for many ex-member of parliament and also works as a place where they exchange their views with new parliamentarians and ministers to voice their views and get a glimpse of the thinking of the governing body and their leaders. Sources say closure has deprived them of these benefits, which for some was included in their daily routine. In recent meetings with Speaker, all ex-members raised the issue and requested to reopen but no solutions have come forth, sources say. It is also in the air that to cut down such meetings probably in new building provision for the central hall has been deleted. Sources say the central hall was also placed for the combined meeting during the budget session and the curtailment likely to end many remembrances, exchange, and new ideas?
