Mamta didi is not a member of any house and as per article 164(4) to remain in position one has to be a member of any house within six months. Seven seats are vacant in the Vidhan Sabha but Election Commission has not declared the date of the election, sources say. All efforts of Mamta Didi to get herself elected have not yielded any results so far. Her plea that the election is held in September because after that Durga Puja festival will start and as per reports Corona cases are also not creating problems in the state and reports says that after September cases likely to increase but sources say election commission not ready and plea with PM during her last visit also not yielded any result. Sources say that if elections are not held Ms Mamta Didi is likely to hand over the charge of West Bengal to her nephew and MP Abhishek Banerjee ji and shift to Delhi with one point formula to create strong opposition to challenge the ruling party?
