WITC
Harish Rawat, ex-CM of Uttarakhand and very senior leader of Congress party gone on Twitter and written if not directly but indirectly reflect his uneasy relationship with the high command, sources say. Sources say, Rawat is aspiring for CM position after the election if the party comes to power after the election but the party high command is still not sure about Rawat's relationship with the party and present leadership because, in 2000, he supported Jitendra ji, who contested against Mrs Sonia Gandhi for President position in the party. Sources say, though Jitendra ji lost and Rawat also supported Mrs Gandhi but that the Gandhi family is always keeping eye on the persons who supported Jitendra ji behind the curtain. This also reflected when twice chance to lead the hilly states was to be lead but first ND Tewari and in the second time Vijay Bahuguna was preferred sources say. In 2013 only when Bahuguna failed to tackle the flood situation in the state successfully, Rawat is given chance to lead sources say. Party leadership taking all the lead from past so far not declared Mr Rawat as his choice to declare him leader before elections and after Twitter messages, sources say, Mrs Priyanka Gandhi talked to him and convinced to refrain from going in public about problems and concentrate on election and party is aware of his capabilities.
